Hey, I just finished reading The Soulmate Secret, an exceptional book by Arielle Ford, and felt it was worth recommending. Ford shares lessons and techniques she used in finding her soulmate who’s now her husband of 12 years. One of her premises is that you must prepare her body, mind, spirit, and home to attract your perfect life partner. Her book is laced with humor and other success stories, and she asserts that you must balance faith with action and make space for love to find you.

Through therapy and personal growth work, Ford learned and invented techniques, rituals, visualizations and prayers that helped prepare her to attract her life partner and create an amazing relationship. I can appreciate the tools she teaches in this book, since we share many of the same principles and beliefs about the magic of the Law of Attraction. We also agree that being willing to prepare yourself on all levels is critical to become an energetic match for the love you’re seeking.
Ford explains that you magnetize your soulmate to you by practicing what she calls “feelingizations”, meaning perceiving how you want to feel with this man and the ways he would treat and interact with you. She suggests you create a list of the qualities you want in a man and embody the feelings of experiencing those qualities.
I actually prefer to call him my dream man, since he fulfills my ideals and desires that previously I’d only imagined in my dreams. Ford shares my philosophy that you must “feel” your way to your man. As my mother used to say, there’s more than one way to skin a cat (like anyone would literally want to do that!). In other words, there are many paths to the same end, and you should find what works for you. I wanted to share this book with you, since I’ve always experienced my best results when I use several resources towards the same end, and I usually combine techniques. Sometimes you really get important messages when you read or hear them in different ways. Besides, I enjoy collaborating with others to support women in getting everything we want and deserve.
