Do you know what was the most important thing I had to do to attract the man of my dreams? I had to give myself permission to dream about what I really wanted in a man and our relationship together. It seems like such a simple thing to say that, but in my coaching work I find that most women (and perhaps men) have a tough time allowing themselves to fully experience a future vision of what it is that will excite them, warm their hearts and soothe their soul.
Perhaps we think they’re impossible or at best not likely, so why bother. Some people may even believe their fate is already pre-determined and they have no control over their life circumstances.
I actually had to become angry with my repetitive, disappointing relationships and dating the wrong men in order to grant myself permission to ask for what I wanted—not just what I thought might be possible. I’d envisioned and created other aspects of my life and career goals, but it finally occurred to me to apply the same concept to attract my dream man and create the relationship I wanted. That initial anger helped me access the part of me that held my heart’s desires and moved me to write out in detail not only the qualities in the man of my dreams, but a story of our life together.
I found this quote that beautifully summarizes what I’ve always believed about manifesting my dreams. I only wish I had understood sooner how to apply the principle to attract the man of my dreams.
After I became a coach and began helping other women envision their dream man and dream life, I was inspired to design a way to enable them to write their own stories. This has become my passion and determination to make it easy for women to translate their feelings and core desires into a personalized narrative about the kind of life they truly want.
It took me six years to design a unique template, which is included in both my book Choose Him and my Online Story Creator. When you breathe life into your vision that has been too long dormant or locked away, you, too, will find the man of your dreams.
